How Electroluminescence paper works
An organic phosphor with coloured overlays is sandwiched between two conductors and as the electric current is applied it rapidly charges phosphor crystals which emit visible light.

Electroluminescent media is constructed in 5 layers:

• Clear Graphics layer at the top
• Clear Conductive layer
• Phosphor layer
• Dark Conductive layer
• Insulating layer at the rear

With up to 1200 lux (similar to a 100w halogen light bulb, but 10% of it's power consumption), sheet size up to 1830mm x 1220mm with edge to edge printing, and illumination and a thickness of around 0.2mm and a weight in grams, the range of products offer the ideal solution for any marketing, design or advertising application.
